Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information [Company legal name] ("ReelsEveryDay", "we") collects when you use reelseveryday.com and app.reelseveryday.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We don't sell your personal information.

1. What we collect

When you visit our website and take the quiz (before you pay)

• Your quiz answers: topic or custom topic, voice, picture style, captions, music, platforms, posting time, time zone, goal and sponsorship preference. These are stored in your browser while you take the quiz and, when you go to checkout, sent with your payment session to Stripe so we can create your series after you pay. Nothing is saved in our database before you pay, and we don't ask for your name or email at this stage.
• How you found us: campaign tags in the link you clicked (such as utm_source or fbclid), the page you came from, and the Meta browser and click IDs (_fbp, _fbc cookies).
• Device and usage data: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, quiz steps completed, and approximate location derived from your IP address.

When you pay

• Payment details are collected and processed by Stripe. We receive your email address, billing country, the plan you chose and payment status, but not your full card number.

When you use the app

• Account details: email address and, if you sign in with Google, your name and profile picture.
• Your content: series settings, custom topics, example scripts, generated scripts, voiceovers, images and videos.
• Connected accounts: if you connect social media accounts, the access permissions needed to post for you and the results of each post.
• Support messages you send us.

2. How we use it

• To create, schedule, deliver and post your videos (performing our contract with you).
• To take payment, send receipts and renewal reminders, and prevent fraud.
• To understand how people use the site and improve the quiz, pages and product.
• To measure our advertising: we send events such as page views, quiz progress and checkout starts to Meta (see below) so we can tell which ads work.
• To answer support requests and send service emails. We only send marketing emails if you've agreed to receive them, and every one has an unsubscribe link.

3. Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers who help us run ReelsEveryDay, under contracts that limit how they can use it:

We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our users or our rights, or as part of a merger or sale of the business (in which case this policy will continue to apply).

4. Cookies and similar technologies

We use a small number of cookies and browser storage:

• Essential: keeping your quiz answers while you take it, keeping you signed in, and security.
• Analytics: understanding how the site is used (PostHog).
• Advertising measurement: the Meta Pixel (_fbp, _fbc) to measure whether our ads lead to visits and purchases.

Where the law requires consent (for example in the EU and UK), we ask before setting analytics or advertising cookies, and you can change your choice anytime. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

5. How long we keep it

• Quiz sessions that never lead to a purchase: deleted or anonymised after 12 months.
• Account, series and video data: kept while your account is open, then deleted within a reasonable period after it closes, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
• Payment records: kept as long as tax and accounting laws require.

6. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU/UK, CCPA/CPRA in California, or PIPEDA in Canada), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or download your personal information, to object to or restrict some uses, and to withdraw consent. California residents can also ask what we've shared for "cross-context behavioural advertising" and opt out of it. We don't sell personal information.

To make a request, email privacy@reelseveryday.com. We'll respond within 30 days, and we won't treat you differently for using your rights. If you're in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

7. Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls and reputable providers to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we take care to limit who can access your data and why.

8. International transfers

Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

9. Children

ReelsEveryDay is for adults. It isn't intended for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect information from children.

10. Changes

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top and, if you have an account, email you before they take effect.
